THY KINGDOM COME

Announced by Scrim on “GREYCORD” Discord channel, dropping before their GREYDAY 2025 Tour which starts in August 2025. The tracklist was confirmed via Twitter on 22nd May. The album will include two collaborations, marking the first time an album has featured other artists since their 2016 release Eternal Grey.

The boy$ also referenced the album in a Q&A event they hosted on Instagram, at 1:03:

"NEW $B ALBUM

We just finished… We came up with the album title, we came up with the artwork, we have all the songs recorded"

Scrim confirmed the album name and the first single “Self-Inflicted” was released on the 9th May (5/9 on the American calendar).
On June 20th, $B and also famous underground rapper BONES released second album single “Now and at the Hour of Our Death”, which is their second collaboration after the song “Maple Syrup”, released back in 2014.

THY KINGDOM COME shares a name with their 2017 EP KILL YOURSELF Part XI: The Kingdom Come Saga.

Now and at the Hour of Our Death

“Now and at the Hour of Our Death” is the sixth track from $uicideboy$‘ 2025 album +THY KINGDOM COME+. The track features BONES, who last collaborated in 2014, on the track “Maple Syrup” from their EP KILL YOURSELF Part I: The $uicide Saga. The trio also planned an EP but following a speculated beef caused by lyrics in Bones’ “TakingOutTheTrash”:

I don’t pop Xanax because pills are for pussies
Never scared of being human I ain’t afraid of feeling feelings

Not long after the air was cleared and an image conversation was released by Scrim on Twitter but their EP was never released or teased again.

The song title is part of the prayer “Hail Mary” prayer:

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death
Amen

NEW WORLD DEPRESSION

New World Depression is the 4th studio album and 54th project by New Orleans rap duo, $UICIDEBOY$. A new album from the Boy$ had been speculated since the release of I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel (V). It was further speculated on, when before the release of $crim’s lonely boy, $crim had stated that the next $B album had been done for a while. A photo of the boys was released with an analog style filter, and in the corner was the date 6/14/24. $crim would go onto say that this was in fact the release date and previewed lyrics in different Instagram posts.

The album was finally officially announced on March 11th, 2024, in a post to their respective social media accounts. The tracklisting calls back to the 2015 style naming convention they used, with a few tracks being quite long naming wise, and a few tracks reflecting on nihilistic and depressive themes in a quite humorous way, like The Light At The End Of The Tunnel For $9.99 A Month. However, the things that many fans were astonished by was that with this release, after 7 years, we’d finally be getting a new installment in the Kill Yourself series of songs, with track 13 being Kill Yourself V.

On March 29th, the lead single from the album, Us Vs. Them was released. It was followed by Are You Going to See the Rose in the Vase, or the Dust on the Table? on April 19th. On May 24th, the third single, The Thin Grey Line was released. This single was generally received the best out of all 3, as fans described it as a good call back to an older, more aggressive style.

As promised, the album was released on June 14th. As soon as the album dropped, vinyls for it appeared for pre-order already. This was surprising as it took almost a year after Sing Me A Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation to have vinyls for it made. The album itself was met with massive praise from fans, with some stating that it had a balance of styles that could appeal to both old fans with more aggressive and nihilistic songs, but also new fans with more hype and pseudo hopeful tracks as well.

Long Term Effects of SUFFERING

Long Term Effects of SUFFERING is the sophomore studio album from New Orleans duo $UICIDEBOY$. The album—which serves as the follow-up to their 2020 release Stop Staring at the Shadows—features mixing from Louisiana producer and engineer Sambo Bachrack.

The album’s rollout consisted of the three singles “NEW PROFILE PIC,” “Avalon,” and “Materialism as a Means to an End”—respectively released in April, May, and July of 2021. The album cover, tracklist, and release date were revealed in late June via the duo’s social media accounts.

Due to misinformation spread online by music leaking groups, the record was originally thought to be named The New Normal—this was, however, debunked with the official announcement.

STOP STARING AT THE SHADOWS

Serving as $UICIDEBOY$‘ Ninth Mixtape and 45th project, Stop Staring at the Shadows features 12 tracks with no featuring artists, similar to the iconic I Want to Die in New Orleans.

Announced on the 19th of December 2019 on both Ruby and $crim’s Twitter

After speculation that on the 19th an album by the name of A Man Rose From the Dead was to be released, instead it was the date that they would announce their latest project.

With the release of two tracks Scope Set and Fuck Your Culture on the 20th of December, they were announced as “filler tracks” on Twitter.

After releasing throughout the world once the date hit 14th February 2020, the Mixtape instantly began gaining major traction.

I WANT TO DIE IN NEW ORLEANS

The iconic I Want To Die In New Orleans is $UICIDEBOY$‘ debut album and 43rd project. This record particularly makes more use of choruses and ad-libs. It follows the boys making references to their hometown of New Orleans; multiple songs on the album feature an outro related to N.O. at the end of the track, segueing into the next.

The album was originally going to be named “I Don’t Want To Die In New Orleans”, the name change came as a shock when the boys posted this to their respective social media:

"We started recording this album in the beginning of 2017. Initially we wanted to write about our experiences on the road and express how our lives had become slightly more extravagant. When the original release date for the album approached, we realized that the album didn't
capture that chapter of our lives correctly.
After traveling the globe on two back back sold out world tours amassing a fortune, spending an insane amount of money on drugs, losing friends, making enemies and witnessing this scene that we helped create turn into what it is now, we have decided that none of this fame or money will ever make us happy.
For a second there we thought it would.
Therefore, we are changing the album title to."

Along with the switch of the name, they also announced around the same time that there would be no features on the album, tweeting,

0 features
0 collabs
no one on this mortal plane is worthy

Along with the album came a vinyl press, a CD copy and casette of every track, fit with the album artwork. However, the album was still uploaded to the boys respective streaming platform discographies and uploaded for free-listening on their Soundcloud.

The album also met with a tour, along with pop-up shops selling merchandise of which was also sold separately online.

KILL YOURSELF PART XIX: THE DEEP END SAGA

The oceanic KILL YOURSELF Part XIX: The Deep End Saga scores part 19 of the “Kill Yourself” series, where Ruby and $crim take the listener into the true abyss of their mind; exploring their loneliness, resolute and inevitable defeat, and grievously detailing life growing up in an impoverished area.

It was released on September 11th, 2017, along with parts 16-20 of the “Kill Yourself” sagas released that day.

The title plays on the idiom “off in the deep end”, meaning to become crazy and irrational; the boys use this to denote how this EP is the “deep end”—where the two record the true extent of their irrational behavior and ever-deteriorating mental state.

It may also draw upon the etymology of being at the deep end of a pool (from the slope in a swimming pool). Shallow at one side, for beginners, and a deeper section designed for more experienced swimmers. The boys may be using this derivation to emphasize how bottomless their lives are, yet they’re above everyone else. An “oceanic” and pelagic insouciance is used throughout the EP to assist this.

KILL YOURSELF PART XX: THE INFINITY SAGA

The dark and contemporary Infinity Saga is Part 20 of the “Kill Yourself” series, and just like most others sagas, it features three tracks.

It was released on September 11, 2017, coinciding with the date of the September 11 attacks, commonly known as 9/11. This wasn’t coincidental, Ruby tweeted that the batch of 16-20 Saga’s was to be released on this day.

Ruby has seemingly referenced this terrorist attack before, for instance in “Novus Ordo Seclorum”,

KILL YOURSELF PART XIV: THE VULTURE SAGA

The fourteenth installment of the Boy$’s Kill Yourself series of EPs, The Vulture Saga doesn’t necessarily follow a unique theme characteristic of most of the other Sagas. The cover art is a section of a portrait by Vasily Vereshchagin called The Apotheosis of War, an anti-war piece created in the late nineteenth century. The Boy$ frequently use war themes in their music and aesthetic, often referring to their native New Orleans as a Vietnam-like war zone, as well as the employment of older art for their discography covers. The Boy$ could be referring to having met the apotheosis of their career, yet remaining unsatisfied, still being eaten away and tormented by their personal struggles. Thus, they are left for the vultures to consume, the spoils of war for those intent on tearing them down.

KILL YOURSELF PART XII: THE DARK GLACIER SAGA

The criminally yet nostalgic “KILL YOURSELF Part XII: The Dark Glacier Saga” follows Ruby and $crim going back to their roots of growing up in New Orleans—looking back on Hurricane Katrina in “PLANTING THE ROOTS ONLY TO FALL OUT THE TREE” and to addressing the current state of the city, ten years after the Hurricane, in the fun yet still deterministic “AUDUBON”.

The persona’s and alter-ego’s the two use in this EP seemingly follow the same theme. From “Snowmane” and the 7th Ward Lord", these personas were all generally first used in the boys' early 7th or St. Tammany album—re-used here.

The EP was released on May 26, 2017, along with the 11-15 other saga’s released on that day, it birthed “2ND HAND”, a song that advanced the sound of $uicideboy$ since their 2016 album Eternal Grey and their “I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel III” single released further that year. The EP as a whole was widely considered a benchmark in the progression of the “$uicide sound.”

“2ND HAND” quickly gained traction online, and despite an error when uploading the song to Spotify, it promptly gained over 25 million views on the Youtube’s official music video for the song and became what is widely considered a staple song for $uicideboy$.

ETERNAL GREY

The legendary Eternal Grey marks the $uicideboy$‘ 7th full-length mixtape. Their reappearance includes the two exploring their avid drug use, overshadowing their competition, and showing off their newly found success after their surge in popularity following their previous Dark Side of the Clouds mixtape.

The album was teasingly announced on $crim’s Twitter 7 months before it’s eventual release after he tweeted,

"EG will be the greatest tape we have ever dropped. Like damn, I really wish y'all understood… I’ve never been this excited to drop a project. EG…"

Two months later after the tweet, their next project Grey Sheep II was released, which left fans still wondering what “EG” was. $crim took to Twitter again, tweeting,

"Grey Sheep II was just an appetizer. the real foods almost out."

And sure enough, after many snippets and the full title being revealed, it was released on September 11, 2016. Upon release, the staple track of the album, “ULTIMATE $UICIDE” featuring Floridian artist Denzel Curry quickly gained traction online, and many critics widely gave it good reviews. The album also marked the release of “O PANA!”, a drugged-out track with a more-than-fitting music video.

The album came with a set of merchandise including a rare cassette tape version of the album—only 100 were made along with an official lyric book containing the lyrics to all the songs paired with special artwork. A live-show tour also came with the release.

GREY SHEEP II

As a segment to the 2015 EP “Grey Sheep”, “Grey Sheep II” has been released in May 2016. With a different atmosphere, it can be seen as a part of the changing of the $uicideboy$‘ style: from a chilled Lo-Fi/$uicide Wave era (2014 – 2015) to the loudy “Bangers” era (2016 – current). The aggressive style is present in songs like “Chevrolet”, “Do You Believe in God?”, “Resin” and “The Nail to The Cross”.

This EP and “Dark Side of The Clouds” EP are considered the Pre-Bangers era, that debuted with “Radical $uicide” EP in July 2016 and it’s present through many songs that have been released since mid-2016. It also marks the first appearance of $lick $loth’s dreadlocks and it’s considered by fans as “pre-dreads era EP”.

YUNGDEATHLIFE

The criminally yet nostalgic “YUNGDEATHLILLIFE” is the boys' 13th project, and as the title and album cover suggest, it compares their life of today to when they were kids.

The topics raised include: how they looked up to their idols and their expensive cars in “All My Life I’ve Wanted a Chevy” to eventually getting their new wheels after their newly found commercial success, but only to find themselves symbolically destroying the car in a symbol of their newly found fame still not securing them happiness in “I Ended up Driving the Camaro off the Causeway Bridge”.

It also features a track named “I Miss My Dead Friends”, where the title explains it all—it is dedicated to their dead friends from when they were younger. Growing up in the rough area of New Orleans all their lives, Ruby and $crim lost many companions, of who they both name in the track:

"Bitch I do this shit just for Jefe
Yeah, he told me make it happen then he died in that tragic car crash
And every time I think of that I’m flicking ashes…"

And in $crim’s verse:

"I do this shit for Dirt, so I ain’t got the time, ho"

The album itself was released on May 8, 2015 and features two collaborations: Masta Drag features in “Cerberus”, and Ohio rapper Rozz Dyliams in “Handzum $uicide”.

BLACK $UICIDE SIDE B: $UICIDE HUSTLE

The 2nd project from the boys and Smurf following the first Black $uicide EP. It seemingly follows the three on a road trip, from referencing Gentilly in New Orleans in “Chilly Gentilly”, to “Its About A 6 Hour Drive”. This is explored further throughout the lyrics; Ruby’s verse in “Who’s Pills Are These? (What Bag Were They In?)” seemingly symbolically references this,

"I’m tired, been blowing on fire
I should get some sleep ‘cause tomorrow we driving
Ruby the pilot been pulled over twice"

And later on in his verse,

"Driving to Cali
Driving to Brooklyn
Driving to Texas
What’s going to be next for us?
Probably the prison—we tend not to listen"

Contrary to this, it starts off with a track dedicated to Gucci Mane on “Free Gucci”, referencing the rapper’s prison sentence of 183 days for illegal possession of a firearm.

KILL YOURSELF PART V: THE FUCK BITCHES, GET DEATH SAGA

The love and affinity themed Fuck Bitches, Get Death Saga is Part 5 of the “Kill Yourself” series, and while some of the lyrics are comedic and show the sense of humour in the boys', the ending track “Aphrodite {The Aquatic Ape Theory}” touches on the existential and nihilistic side of things, with lyrics such as:

"I’m hoping that someone will come and slit my throat and then I can finally overdose
Shawty looking like she needs some rest
So in the grave, she goes—I’m right beside her
She trying to get whats in my chest"

Released in late 2014, it features two features, from Woozy Medz on “Deep Web”, and the soon-to-be-famous “Fuck A Hoe” featuring Black Smurf. Smurf later went on to collaborate on 3 more EP’s with the boys' following this track.

Released 29 October, 2014

KILL YOURSELF Part IV: The Trill Clinton Saga

$uicideboy$ fourth project, named after the 42nd president of the United States, Bill Clinton, paired with the slang word commonly used in hip-hop culture, “trill” meaning someone who is well-respected and illustrious within the community, deriving from the words “true” and “real.”

This deep and somber EP is mysterious in its own way, as it is notably different from the first 3 “Kill Yourself” EP’s.
